Glenn Elston, Jr.October 30, 1963 - March 14, 2025Glenn J. "Soco" Elston, Jr., 61, of Rock Island, died on Friday, March 14, 2025, at his home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 29th, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, East Moline, Ill. Burial will be in Munson Township Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 28th, from 4 to 7 p.m., at the church. Memorials may be made to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Stackhouse-Moore Cremation and Funeral Services is assisting the family with arrangements.Glenn was born on October 30, 1963, in Dubuque, Iowa, the son of G. Jerry and Dorelle L. (Mazzetta) Elston. He graduated from Rock Island High School in 1982, and attended BYU. He married Antonia Villanueva, and later married Julie Travis on May 13, 2017, in Davenport, Iowa.Glenn had worked for UPS for 35 years in the Customer Care Center in Milan, Ill.
