Walter "Walt" J. VerVynck, 72, of Kewanee, passed away Friday, August 23, 2024. Per his wishes he passed at home surrounded by his family. Walt was born November 4, 1951, in Kewanee, the son of Walter J., Sr. and Frances (Mahnesmith) VerVynck. Walt married Carol Blodgett, they later divorced. He then married Paula Titus, they later divorced. He then married Dawn DeVenney; she preceded him in death.
Walt is survived by one son, Joseph VerVynck, Kewanee; two daughters, Misty (Jason) Patterson, Crestview, FL and Darcy McCommons, Kewanee; one step son, Larry (Kelly) Morris, Kewanee; eleven grandchildren, Alyssa, Dallas, Austin, Alan, Brendan, Connor, Isabelle, Tess, Liviann, Aidan, Teygan; twelve great-grandchildren; siblings, John (Priscilla) VerVynck, Canton, Jerry VerVynck, Kewanee, Jimmy John Larson, Hazel (Larry) Williams, Sheffield, Bonnie Callicutt, Kewanee, Effie Nearing, PA; a sister-in-law, Missy VerVynck; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
