Brenda L. Kopp, 58, of Kewanee, passed away Saturday, August 3, 2024, surrounded by her family. Brenda was born December 21, 1965, in Kewanee, the daughter of Dean and Judith "Judy" (Westervelt) Kopp. Brenda graduated from Neponset High School, with the class of 1984, "Go Zephyrs". Brenda obtained a bachelor's degree in social work from Western Illinois University. She is survived by her mother, Judy; siblings, Fred (Debbie) Kopp, Dena (Brent) Huber, of Kewanee; nieces and nephews, Matt (Jill) Huber, Mandy (Tia) Thompson-Huber, Malerie Schmidt, Lorelei (Greg) Ohlson, Brandon (Tricia) Kopp, and Joshua Kopp; great nieces and nephews, Bentley, Marlee, Blake, Bella, Jaton, Paxon, Madon, Brylee, Tavon. She was preceded in death by her father, Dean and a brother, Terry Kopp; great nieces and nephews, Zaion, Kidyn, Masyn; and her beloved cats, Pepsi and Baby.She was a Victim Advocate for the Henry County State's Attorney.
