Evelyn DeSplinter February 25, 1926 - July 28, 2024 Evelyn DeSplinter (nee Dwyer), 98, of Annawan, IL, passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2024, surrounded by her children. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Annawan, IL, with Rev. S. Stephen Engelbrecht celebrating. Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Friday, August 2, 2024, at 4:30 p.m. at Vandemore Funeral Home & Crematory-Atkinson, IL, followed by visitation from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Annawan, IL. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to Sacred Heart Church in Annawan or to the Hammond Henry Hospital Foundation in Geneseo for the benefit of Extended Care.
