Lois L. Brokaw, a woman whose heart was as vast as the fields she tended, 93, of Osco, IL, passed away Friday June 7, 2024, at her home surrounded by the beauty of her family farm. Her life was a testament to the simple joys of rural living, where every sunrise brought new hope and every harvest was a celebration of hard work and dedication.Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday June 10, 2024, at the Morristown Cemetery in Morristown, IL.  Born on October 23, 1930, into a family that cherished the land, Lois grew up with a deep connection to nature and a love for the rhythms of farm life. She carried this passion into adulthood, nurturing not only the crops but also the community around her.She married Richard D. Brokaw on April 14, 1951, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rock Island. He preceded her in death on May 21, 2009. Lois was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Colona and later at Mary Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Orion.Survivors include her son,
